I am a fairly new reader I used to hate reading but a former co-worker got me in to reading and I have been doing it since and that was almost 4 to 5 years ago. I also told this same former co-worker that I didn't have anyone around me to talk about what I thought of a book and she told me that she has a blog to review book and showed me how to set one up and here I am reviewing book. I was only reading paranormal romance books but I saw the description of the Songbird novels and I just had to read it. I also helped that the novels was all together 2.97 for all of the novels because of a read-a-thon that is going on right now so I thought there was no better time to get to read this........ So Fever is the first novel in this series and it is about a young girl shy and scared to do anything (which in her case I would be tis way too). She went to a university in Chicago because her boyfriend was going there and he wanted her to go thee too and so she went. Well without giving away too much for the one's that has never read it (which you need to) Things didn't go as she had planned and this book teaches us that God works in mysterious ways and then end might not be what you thought but it is what you need. I gave this book five stars because I think that this book was a really good book and it also could help someone out there that might be going through what this girl in this book went through. I love this book and I am off to go read book 2. I will not stop until I have read all of them. And if you have a chance go and join the Songbird Read-a-thon found on Melissa Pearl's Facebook page.
